An introduction to the vast world of electronics. During this course, students construct a number of different real-life based circuits with the aim of understanding the function of each component in the circuit.
By the end of each class, students use their electronics knowledge and creativity to design their own digital system, built with LEGO, inspired from a real-life based application.
Day 1: Introduction to Electricity and LittleBits Electronics
Day 2: Resistors [Light, pressure and flex sensors, dimmers]
Day 3: Bowling [Servo motors, Makey-Makey, crafting]
Day 4: Maze & Paper Circuit [Roller switch, copper tape]
Day 5: Wireless Communication [Transmitters, Receivers]
